How To Find “Do Follow Blogs” – Free Trial Software That Lets You Create A List Of Do Follow Blogs

If you have been searching Google and elsewhere for a list of do follow blogs, you will no doubt have come across many sites that offer lists of blogs with dofollow backlinks allowed from the comments you leave on them, but yet when you actually visit these blogs it turns out that the blog in question is no longer a do follow blog.

Either the information was wrong in the first place, or the blogger has grown tired of the (inevitable) torrent of spammers that have visited his previously do follow blog, and has since decided to change it to a “No Follow blog” (For those still not sure, there really is no such thing as a do follow blog, it is simply the absence of the “No Follow tag” on comments that makes a blog into a dofollow blog!)

Anyway, nice lesson on dofollow blogs and the structure of the tags on comments and what affect this has on them, but how does any of this help you to find dofollow blogs?

What you need is software that shows you how to find dofollow blogs. Software that can go out there and actually check for blogs on your chosen topic, and then check to see if the returned list of blogs is actually dofollow or not. (Only checks you do at the time you want to comment can be certain to return accurate and up to date lists of do follow blogs)

That is where Fast Blog Finder comes in. This is an excellent piece of software that does exactly what it says on the tin (to borrow from the excellent Ronseal ad!). It looks for do follow blogs by searching on the topics (keywords) you type in, and then it will list dofollow blogs for you.

The list of dofollow blogs it returns can then be exported into various file formats for later visiting and commenting, or you can visit and comment right from within the application (I personally prefer to export into CSV file format, and visit each site later in my own browser – but its nice to have the choice, isn’t it!?)

The software actually returns more than a standard yes or no to the “do follow” question. For example there are some blogs which only become “do follow blogs” once a visitor has left the appropriate number of comments (this is a technique that a blogger will sometimes apply to their blog, so that a commenter has to leave several good comments, and not spam, on the blog to be rewarded with a “do follow backlink” in return).

The full list of blogs returned with Fast Blog Finder can be categorised into one of the following:
All, Custom, DoFollow, HTTP Error, Mixed, Unknown and NoFollow.

“HTTP Error” and “Unknown” are obviously due to problems with either the connection to the site or issues that the site itself is having, and so the software cannot return information on this blog, so lets ignore those and move on.

“NoFollow”, as the name suggests (and as explained earlier) are the blogs that you would not gain any search engine credit from, and so it’s unlikely you want to visit these blogs for this purpose. Again let’s ignore those and move on.

The two blog types you are interested in will be “DoFollow” and “Mixed”. These will be blogs that are either do follow blogs, or blogs that become do follow after you have entered the appropriate number of accepted comments (this can be anywhere from 5 up to as high as 50!)

You then use the software to further refine your dofollow blogs list so that you can choose exactly the blog types you want to comment on. For example you might want to comment only on those blogs with a high page rank, or on blogs that have been recently updated, or even on those particular blogs that have a low number of outbound links (All can be selected within the software!)

Already you can see that the Fast Blog Finder software will be extremely beneficial to you in order to get “do follow backlinks” to your own website or blog. But what hasn’t been explained yet is that the new version of the software returns much more than just blogs, and will now be useful to you in searching for dofollow websites as well!

I’m sure that I have given you an excellent resource here, and helped to answer the question of how to find do follow blogs, but the next area we need to cover is in Blog etiquette. Namely, how to leave blog comments that are useful to other visitors, and that add something to the conversation already in commencement, and that hasn’t been covered already in the other comments.

In other words you shouldn’t be spamming the blog just to get a SEO credit, you should simply be commenting normally, as you would on any other blog, whilst at the same time enjoying the added benefits of the blogs “Do Follow” status.

No blogger will want you spamming their blog site with useless comments, and so you should treat them with the respect that you would want them to show you, if the roles were reversed.

QUICK TIPS

As mentioned above if you want to leave do follow blog comments on a blog or website you find using the software just comment normally. One tip would be search for topics/keywords you are actually interested in, as this will help you to compose your blog better.

Your chances of having your dofollow blog comment accepted and published will be greatly increased if your comment does not appear to be self serving in any way (Remember, if you must put links in a comment, they should be to authority sites, and that you do not own. Its best not to put links in comments as most bloggers have their blogging software setup to put comments with links in them on hold, or trash them altogether!)

Even if you can find do follow blogs with this software, that does not mean that the blogger wants to be spammed with useless comments (trust me, they don’t!) and it is likely that they will quickly change the status of their blog back to “No Follow” if they get too many people just trying to leave dofollow blog comments for the SEO benefit (Its possible they will do so and the result might be that they remove the dofollow from comments that were published long ago!)
