Make money becoming an import export agent
Have you been on holiday to a foreign land and liked items out there
that you can’t get back in your home country? Or are you about to go to
a foreign land?
Well if you haven’t gone yet remember to ask questions about the goods
you like whilst you are there, because by becoming an import export
agent you can be the one to get the item sold in your home country
making you money!
If you have already come back its not too late - hopefully you brought
back some goods with you that you could use as samples, or at least you
might still have a receipt tucked away somewhere that will enable you
to begin your product research.
Essentially import export agents arrange for companies to sell goods in
new markets that they are not currently trading in. Effectively
speaking its all about making relationships with suppliers and then
matching up markets where items could be sold by suitable sellers. So
how do you do that?
Ask where sellers out there where they get their goods from, ask the
sellers suppliers questions about their goods, prices and about
exporting such items to your home country, and ask sellers back in your
home country about their interest in selling such items, plus profit
margins etc.
(It obviously goes without saying that whatever items you might like to
have imported to your home country should be items that are not illegal
for import/export!)
It doesn’t just have to be physical durable goods either!
Ask your foreign friends living in your country which food items they
miss most about their own country. You might be able to match up food
suppliers with food distribution companies.
You could of course arrange with a foreign supplier to get items
exported your home country to sell on eBay by yourself, without having
a seller in your home country to deal with. (You don’t have to become
an import export agent, just a private seller seeking a supplier)
This would cut out one partner and make maximum profits for you, but
you would have to deal with many issues such as items not allowed for
import to your home country, to having to handle all sales yourself, to
even having to deal with your supplier in the foreign country and all
the problems that might arise if imports are delayed etc.
If you went this route then keep in constant contact with your overseas
supplier to maintain a really good relationship, make sure you list
such items on eBay in the correct category to ensure maximum sales
numbers, and ensure the items are allowed for sale on eBay before you
even begin the whole thing!
This would frankly be much greater work than simply becoming an import
export agent, and so this is unlikely to be the best route unless you
already have excellent business skills.

Make money from paid medical trials
Although this might sound like a "Barney" joke from The Simpson's to
pay for beer, it is actually really quite popular to make money from
paid medical trials to find a number of improvements to current
treatments.
None of the medical trials (that I have ever heard of at least) are for
Frankenstein type experiments’, that you should be unduly worried
about. Most of them are really quite simple little tests that should
not disrupt your lifestyle too much.
There will of course be medical tests that require you to give up some
aspects of your life that you currently enjoy - for example a
particular food or drinking alcohol. Some of the medical experiments
will not be open to smokers and other groups.
Basically, the less inconvenient a medical trial is to your life, then
the lower the payout for completing the trial will be. And the more
inconvenient a medical trial is, then the higher the payout is likely
to be.
Some of the paid clinical trials you can make money from will require
an extended stay in a clinic, where you will be monitored for changes
to your health as the trial progresses. These are the medical trials
that will result in the very large payouts - certainly into the
£thousands region.
This is one of the more satisfying ways to make money as you will be
helping others with health issues as a result of your own earning
activity!

Make money with leaflet distributing
You can make money distributing leaflets, catalogues and brochures of
all types door to door in your local area. Do you receive all sorts of
fast food advertising stuffed through your letterbox?
Even if you are sick and tired of getting all those different leaflets
everyday, remember that someone is getting paid to deliver them to you.
And as long as there are fast food restaurants and takeaways opening up
that are prepared to pay to have their leaflets’ delivered, then you
will keep receiving them.
Its not just leaflet distributing for fast food places that can earn
you money. You probably have those small catalogues for handy little
kitchen, household and garden gadgets arriving each week.
On top of those you will have a couple of local newspapers delivered to
your door (not just a young boy delivering them you know - anyone, any
age can be a "paperboy" or "papergirl" - the correct term should, I
suppose be a newspaper distributor)
Besides all of these extra deliveries through your letterbox, there
will also likely be yellow pages and other directory style magazines.
Your local council might have some information to be sent to you not by
the normal mail services, but by ordinary distributors like yourself.
There are literally all sorts of door to door style distributing
services to earn money from - and we haven’t even touched on "Avon"

Search online for "distributor" and "leaflet distributing" style jobs
and consider becoming an agent for the other catalogues you can think
of.
